PURPOSE: An image transmitter of a moving robot is provided to allow the robot to find a person to be photographed and transmit the image of the person without depending on an operator and to confirm the image transmitted from the robot using a cellular phone. CONSTITUTION: A moving robot(1) includes a voice input unit(3a) and a camera(2a). The moving robot further includes person detecting units(2,3,4,5) for detecting a person based on information from the voice input unit or the camera, a moving unit(12a) by which the robot is moved to the detected person, an image cutting unit(4) for cutting out the image of the detected person based on the information from the camera, and an image transmitting unit(11) by which the person transmits the image to an external device(14).
