PURPOSE: A data sustaining display device and its driving method and a television receiver are provided to prevent the degradation of display quality due to afterimages while displaying a moving picture. CONSTITUTION: A data sustaining display unit(11) is divided into a plurality of display units which is driven independently, and a display signal is written into a data signal line connected to a pixel of a selected display unit. A data signal line driving unit(13) is provided to each display unit, and supplies a display signal corresponding to input display data to the data signal line. And a control unit(14) provides one of display data corresponding to the input image signal and interpolation display data during one interval of a plurality of intervals in one period, and provides the other data during another 1 interval.
