摘要

PURPOSE: An image processing method and a liquid crystal display using the same are provided which has wide visual angle and good gray level visual characteristics. CONSTITUTION: A high luminance pixel(1a) driven to be higher luminance than luminance data of an image to be displayed is assembled with a low luminance pixel(1b) driven to be lower luminance than the luminance data. The luminance of the high luminance pixel and the luminance of the low luminance pixel, and area ratio of the high luminance pixel and the low luminance pixel are determined, in order to obtain almost equal luminance to desired luminance on the basis of the luminance data.
