PURPOSE: A hypocaust making use of dolomite mixed aggregate is provided to promote health through emission of far infrared rays and an anion and to maximize the function of each layer by constructing the hypocaust as a multi-layered structure. CONSTITUTION: A hypocaust makes heating executed through a heating pipe(13) arranged on a floor structure(10). An interception layer(11) comprising a waterproof sheet is formed on the floor structure. A thermal insulation layer(12) is formed on the interception layer. The thermal insulation layer is made by mixing, pouring and curing mixed aggregate, in which 80¯95 percent by weight of dolomite with diameter of 8 mm¯10mm and 5¯20 percent by weight of dolomite with diameter less than 1.6 mm are mixed, cement and water. A heat-insulating layer(14) is formed on the thermal insulation layer after the heating pipe is arranged. In the heat-insulating layer, mixed aggregate, in which 80¯95 percent by weight of dolomite with diameter of 3 mm¯4 mm and 5¯20 percent by weight of feldspar with diameter less than 0.6 mm are mixed, is paved and compacted. A trowelled layer(15) is formed on the heat-insulating layer. The trowelled layer is formed by mixing, pouring and curing aggregate, in which 40¯60 percent by weight of dolomite with diameter less than 0.5 mm and 40¯60 percent by weight of feldspar with diameter less than 0.5 mm are mixed, cement and water.
