he disclosed herein load-covering mechanism is composed of the drive toothed wheel 3 and the moving toothed wheel (9) interconnected by the chain (10) and destined to rotate the metal drum (3) winding the wire rope (14) around it; said load-covering mechanism is also composed of the metal framework (20) serving as a support for the rolling bodies arrangement (15,17,18,19) and the rails (21,22) wherein moving metal frames (25,28) are sliding and bearing recesses for receiving the metal beams (26) with the covering material (27) fixed thereon. The drive toothed wheel (3 can be manually or electrically rotated via a hand lever 8 or an electromotor. The motion is conveyed to the moving metal frames (25,28) via the wire rope (14) passing from the sliding bodies (15,16,17,18,19) located onto or under the rails (21,22). The invented load-covering mechanism can either be placed on the chassis 1 of a lorry or utilised for covering whatever load upon conversion of the dimensions of the metal framework (20). |
