METHOD AND DEVICE FOR OBTAINING STATE INFORMATION OF EXECUTED PROCESS FROM GRID

PURPOSE: A method and a device for obtaining state information of an executed process from a grid are provided to easily obtain the state information related to a task process executed on a remote node on a network data processing system. CONSTITUTION: The first node(404) receives a request from a user. In the second node(400), the user submits a task to be executed to the first node. The task is submitted to the grid by using a globus-task-submit request or command. Other nodes(408,410) are selected as the node to processes the submitted task. The first node transfers the task to the other nodes to execute the task with an application fit to the task. The user wanting to obtain states of the task executed on the remote nodes from the second node is satisfied by providing a GPS(Grid Process State) command to the second node.
