MULTI-AIR CONDITIONER APPLIED FOR AT LEAST TWO ROOMS BY PLURAL REMOTE CONTROLLERS AND CONTROL SIGNAL TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING UNITS

PURPOSE: A multi-air conditioner is provided to recognize a cooling or heating operation mode of other indoor unit by a remote controller for operating an own indoor unit and according to improve operation and usage efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A multi-air conditioner is composed of one outdoor unit; a plurality of indoor units coupled to the outdoor unit, respectively, to select plural operation modes; and a plurality of remote controllers installed correspondently in each indoor unit to remote-control the indoor units. Control signal transmitting and receiving units(36a,36b,34a,34b) for bidirectional communication of a control signal are arranged in the remote controller and the indoor unit. The remote controller has a display unit for showing an operation mode of the other indoor unit connected with the outdoor unit. The color of the display unit is changed according to the operation mode of the other indoor unit.
