PURPOSE: A stereoscopic display system is provided to obtain a projected image without distortion using a curvature change mechanism for changing the curvature of a display surface. CONSTITUTION: A stereoscopic display system comprises a display unit(31) on which position-determined pixels are arranged in the shape of a matrix and a parallax barrier(32) having plural apertures or plural lenses and removing vertical parallax by controlling the direction of lights from the pixels. The horizontal pitch of the parallax barrier is in constant proportion with the horizontal pitch of the pixels. The display surface of the display unit is divided into element images corresponding to the apertures or the lenses. An image projected vertically and horizontally is separately placed in every pixel row.
