PURPOSE: A burglar alarm apparatus and method for a portable illuminator are provided, which is installed on the sidewall inside of the body. CONSTITUTION: A burglar alarm apparatus and method of a portable illuminator includes a body, a main frame, an auxiliary frame and an alarm. The body is capable of depositing the illuminator by receiving it inside of the body. The main frame covers the opened top portion of the body and is provided with an opening portion having a predetermined area. The auxiliary frame is connected to the rear side of the main frame, and opens and closes operation of the opening portion. And, the alarm is installed inside of the body to output the alarm sound when the close state of opening portion is changed into an open state.
