PORTABLE PHONE, CONCERNED WITH IMPROVING USER CONVENIENCE

PURPOSE: A portable phone is provided to automatically or manually rotate an open folder, and to locate an LCD window in a desired direction while controlling the rotation of the folder with one hand of a user. CONSTITUTION: A body(50) consists of a keypad(52) and a transmitting microphone(54). A folder(60) is fixed to one side of the body(50) by a hinge(58) to be foldable, and has an LCD window(62) and a receiving speaker(64). The body(50) has one pair of circular housings(56). The hinge(58) is rotatively fixed between the housings(56). A rotative unit(70) foldably connects the folder(60) with the body(50), and automatically or manually rotates the folder(60) in a direction 'B' when the folder(60) is open from the body(50).
