The method involves obtaining predetermined information from a part of data contained in a packet received by a data reception device associated to a data flow. A message representing the predetermined information is generated, where the message is destined to another data reception device associated with the same flow. The received packet is processed according to response received from the latter device for the message. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a computer program stored on information medium comprises instructions permitting to implement processing method (b) a device for processing flow of data received through a communication network (c) a method of transmitting data flow using set of transmitting devices through a communication network to a processing device (d) a system of transmitting data flow using set of transmitting devices through a communication network to a processing device.
