FLAT PANEL DISPLAY HAVING THIN FILM TRANSISTORS

PURPOSE: A flat panel display having thin film transistors is provided to decrease an on-current of a driving TFT(Thin Film Transistor) without changing size of an active layer of a TFT and in a state of applying the same driving voltage, and obtain the driving TFT realizing high resolution while maintaining a high switching characteristic of a switching TFT. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting diode is installed. A switching thin film transistor has a semiconductor active layer(11) having a channel area(C1), and transmit a data signal to the light emitting diode. A driving thin film transistor drives the light emitting diode to flow a current in the light emitting diode according to the data signal. The channel area of the switching thin film transistor and a channel area(C2) of the driving thin film transistor are different from each other in shape of a grain.
