PURPOSE: An air pollutant destruction apparatus having a plasma filter with three dimensional cell structure and a cleaning method thereof are provided to enhance a purifying efficiency and to generate a lot of active radicals and anions without an additive filter or electric dust collector. CONSTITUTION: The air pollutant destruction apparatus(1) having the plasma filter with three dimensional cell structure comprises a pre-filter part(2) for filtering a pollutant air firstly; a blowing part(3) which absorbs the air from the pre-filter part and sends it to a plasma filter part(4); the plasma filter part(4) for purifying the air secondly by an atmospheric pressure plasma discharge; and a plasma electric power supplying device connected to the plasma filter part.
