PURPOSE: A method for generating a location information code is provided to manage geographical information by dividing into a fixed area, and enable a user to search desired geographical information by using a location information code. CONSTITUTION: A number is granted to geographical information by a latitude and longitude, according to the first classification standard. The first code is generated from the granted number. A number is granted to a section of the first code by the longitude, according to the second classification standard. The second code is generated from the granted number. A number is granted to a section of the first code by the latitude, according to the third classification standard. The third code is generated from the granted number. The location information code is generated by the first, second and third code.
