PURPOSE: An ice-making unit for an ice machine is provided to improve the quality of ice made and to improve durability, by smoothly shaking ice-making water supplied in an ice-making water tank. CONSTITUTION: An ice-making unit(100) for an ice machine freezes ice-making water by making use of heat exchange of a refrigerant passing through an evaporator pipe connected to a cooling unit. The ice-making unit comprises an ice-making water tank(110) receiving ice-making water of predetermined amount; a lower frame(120) elastically supporting the ice-making water tank in the vertical direction; at least one cooling projection combined to the evaporator pipe, to be soaked in the ice-making water received in the ice-making water tank; a cam device(150) shaking the ice-making water tank in the vertical direction; and an upper frame(140) rotatably supporting the other end of a camshaft(152). The cam device includes a cam motor(151); the camshaft one end of which is connected to the cam motor; and first and second cams(153a,153b) installed to the cam shaft, to come in contact with the ends of the ice-making water tank.
