METHOD FOR PRODUCING SILICATIC MOLDINGS HAVING MECHANICAL STABILITY AND ADDITIONAL PROPERTIES REQUIRED FOR VARIOUS INDUSTRIAL FIELDS

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for producing silicatic moldings having mechanical stability and additional properties including minimized flammability combined with high water resistance required for the field of construction or high refractory properties required for industrial casting. CONSTITUTION: The method for producing silicatic moldings comprises the steps of: mixing a silicatic solid with a solution containing a first silicatic binder; carrying out pressure molding of the mixture; and carrying out post-treatment of the pressurized moldings with a solution containing a second silicatic binder. The second silicatic binder has a modulus greater than that of the first silicatic binder. The first silicatic binder and the second silicatic binder may have a modulus of at most 50 and at least 10, respectively.
