The device has a circular or linear speed indicator dial (1), and a CCD camera measuring distance between two vehicles. The distance and the vehicle speed are displayed simultaneously and in conjugation on the dial. The speed is indicated by an index (4) moving before a graduation (2) and the distance is visualized by a luminous bar graph ribbon (3) parallel to the graduation, where the graduation and ribbon have same origin.
