METHOD FOR FORMING CONCAVE-CONVEX PLANE IN MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A method for forming a concave-convex plane in manufacturing a liquid crystal display is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by forming a concave-convex plane on a reflecting plate without using an expensive resin. CONSTITUTION: A concave-convex photosensitive film is formed on a lower layer(21) formed on a transparent insulation substrate. A surface of the lower layer is oxidized while the photosensitive film is selectively removed by oxygen plasma to form an oxide film on the surface of the lower layer. After removing the photosensitive film, the oxide film is etched to form a concave-convex plane(27) on the surface of the lower layer.
