HEAT SINK DEVICE OF PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL WITH PROTRUSION HAVING CONCAVE SHAPE ON HEAT RADIATING PLATE

PURPOSE: A heat sink device is provided to achieve improved heat radiation characteristics by forming a protrusion having a concave shape on a heat radiating plate. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises a heat radiating plate(3) mounted on the rear surface of a panel; a thermal conduction sheet attached to the rear surface of the heat radiating plate; a heat radiating plate mounted on the rear surface of the thermal conduction sheet; and a front case and a rear case arranged at the front and rear surfaces of an assembly. Protrusions(10) each of which has a concave shape are formed at the heat radiating plate corresponding to the point of the panel having a locally high temperature distribution, so as to concentrically cool the relatively higher temperature point. The concave shaped protrusions formed on the heat radiating plate are connected with each other through a heat radiating tape(11).
