SATELLITE BROADCASTING RECEIVER TO REDUCE THE INTERNAL MEMORY CAPACITY OF A DEMULTIPLEXER

PURPOSE: A satellite broadcasting receiver is provided to reduce the internal memory capacity of a demultiplexer using separate memories installed in the outside of the demultiplexer. CONSTITUTION: A tuner(305) converts and demodulates a broadcasting signal received from a satellite, and outputs channel data with respect to each frame by a serial type. A demultiplexer(300) converts the channel data arranged as the serial type transmitted from the tuner into channel data with a parallel type, and outputs the converted channel data. The first and second memories(350,360) store the channel data inputted from the tuner according to the control of the demultiplexer. A CDM(Code Division Multiplex) modulator(310) assigns a certain code to the channel data arranged as the parallel type outputted from the demultiplexer, and performs CDM modulation. The demultiplexer converts the channel data inputted from the tuner using the first and second memories to be converted from the serial type to the parallel type.
