PURPOSE: An ice container of an ice storage system is provided to prevent breakage and reduce the loss of maintaining and repairing cost by reducing fatigue for the expansion and contraction of the ice container and to decrease buoyancy and improve ice-making and ice-thawing efficiencies by expanding a thermal conductive surface of the ice container. CONSTITUTION: An ice container(10b) of an ice storage system with a hollow filling unit(40) is composed of a combining tool(14) disposed at the opened side of the ice container to receive and combine an expansive receiving member(20); an expansive receiving unit(23) integrated with the expansive receiving member, contracted by cubical expansion in the ice-making of ice liquid filled in the ice container, and returned to the original state in thawing ice; and a combining unit(21) formed along the outer peripheral surface of one end of the expansive receiving member and received and joined to the combining tool.
