PURPOSE: An armoured foldaway inflatable floating device is provided to add the buoyancy and protection ability quickly by folding the device. CONSTITUTION: A folding protecting and floating device comprises an inner plate as the first side; an upper side protection plate hinged on the upper side of the inner plate; an outer protection plate hinged on the upper protection plate; a folding air bag having an air supply line and fixed to each protection plate; a front and back protection plate hinged on the inner plate; and a controller for controlling the folding and unfolding of the plate. In the water, each protection plate are unfolded so that the floating space is made.
