LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY TO REDUCE THE MANUFACTURING COST

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost by removing a scaler occupying large cost and area in a conversion board. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display has a conversion board basically receiving external power source and digital data signals including dot signals. The conversion board includes a digital signal receiver receiving the external power source and digital data signals including dot signals, and a comparator comparing whether frequency of the dot signal demultiplied by two and output from the digital signal receiver is higher than frequency used in a driving device of the liquid crystal display. If so, the digital signals are applied to a module of the liquid crystal display by using two channels. If not, the digital signals are applied to the module of the liquid crystal display by using one channel.
