PURPOSE: An emergent call method when a mobile communication terminal is in low voltage state is provided to supply power to parts only necessary for a call operation when a battery has a low voltage, to reduce power consumption, thereby transmitting an emergent call or a text message. CONSTITUTION: A low voltage detector periodically compares a measurement value with a predetermined value to check a battery voltage(S21,S22). The detector decides whether the battery voltage is less than the predetermined value(S23). If the battery voltage is more than the predetermined value, the detector supplies power to each part of a terminal for a normal operation(S24). If the battery voltage is less than the predetermined value, the detector cuts off all unnecessary powers, and supplies the power to necessary elements only(S25,S26). |
