PURPOSE: An air cleaner for a vehicle is provided to exactly determine pollution with the small amount of air by mounting a sensor for detecting pollution of an interior room of the vehicle at both an inlet side into which the air flows initially and the spot with the most intake amount of air to the characteristic of a pre-set fan. CONSTITUTION: An air cleaner for a vehicle is composed of a body(100) having an air passage with an inlet port(111) and an exhaust port(112) to discharge flowing-in air; a filtering unit(200) installed at the air passage of the body to filter foreign materials in the air; a fan unit(300) disposed to the air passage to send forcibly the air from the inlet port to the exhaust port; a driving motor mounted at the body to supply driving force for rotating the fan unit; and a pollution sensor(600) arranged at the position within a region of the inlet port that has the maximum inflow amount of the air to detect the pollution degree of the air.
