HIGH-EFFICIENCY PROJECTION SYSTEM TO MINIATURIZE A SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A high-efficiency projection system is provided to miniaturize a system by scrolling a color bar using one scrolling unit. CONSTITUTION: An optical splitter(15) splits an incident light according to colors. A scrolling unit(20) converts the rotation motion of at least one lens cell into the straight-line motion of the lens cell to scroll the incident light. A light valve(40) processes the light passed through the optical splitter and the scrolling unit according to an image signal, and forms a color image. The light valve has a plurality of micro mirrors independently driven according to the image signal. A plurality of the micro mirrors change a reflective angle of the incident light. A projection lens unit(45) expands and projects the color image formed by the light valve on a screen.
