PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing costs of connecting members to be arranged along an ink introduction tube and an ink discharge tube, both to circularly feed ink from a storage tank to a recording head, and also to prevent bubble retention in an ink passage in the connecting members, in an ink feed structure of an image recording apparatus. SOLUTION: A seal rubber 30a to be used for the connecting member 30 on the ink introduction tube 21a side, and a seal rubber 31a for the connecting member 31 on the ink discharge tube 22a side are made into the same shape for common use. Further, the one seal rubber 30a and one first joint member 30b are tapered, and a filter 32 is provided inside. The other first joint member 31b is made to have a top of protruded shape 31b-1 to be fitted in the seal rubber 31a. As a result, no steps are generated in the ink passage, and thereby no bubbles in the ink are retained therein when the bubbles ascend under their buoyancy. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
