PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a tightening amount from being decreased from a prescribed amount when controlling a winding tension by using a loosened yarn-tightening device in a yarn-winding process in a spinning machine. SOLUTION: When the tightening amount of the loosened yarn-tightening device 10 is detected that the amount is decreased from the prescribed amount, the tightening amount is increased by reducing the winding speed by separating the package 16 from the rotary drum 13 when winding the yarn spun by the spinning device 5 by a winding device 12 on the package 16 while tightening the yarn Y by the loosened yarn-tightening device 10. At this time, the speed-reducing state of the winding speed is regulated by controlling the separating time according to a winding diameter of the package. When increasing the tightening amount, the optimum speed-decreased state is set according to the difference of the moment of inertia of the package because the speed-decreasing time, the speed-decreasing amount or the like of the winding speed is regulated by considering a winding diameter of the package when increasing the tightening amount.
