PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the amount of washable dishes by increasing the volume of a washing tub without enlarging a main body shape. SOLUTION: For a dishwasher, the rotary shaft 11 of the impeller of a washing pump 4 and the rotary shaft 12 of a motor 5 are made concentric in an almost vertical direction. Also, a space part A is formed at the side part of a water storage part 2 expanded downwards from the bottom part of the washing tub 1 and below the bottom part of the washing tub 1 facing the lower part of the rotary track of a washing nozzle 3, and the motor 5 and the washing pump 4 are disposed in the space part A.
