PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform correction for the polishing surface of a grinding wheel in a short time. SOLUTION: This grinding wheel device includes: a grinding wheel having a polishing surface for polishing a blade; a grinding wheel correction device having a correcting surface for correcting the polishing surface of the grinding wheel on a base 17; and a covering body covering the correcting surface of the grinding wheel correction device, wherein the grinding wheel can be placed on the grinding wheel correction device through the covering body. An anticorrosion plating 33 (a copper plating layer 33 and a nickel plating layer 34) for anticorrosion is applied to the base surface of the grinding wheel correction device, and the correction surface 16 is provided with the anticorrosion plating and diamond abrasive grains 30 electrodeposited on the anticorrosion plating.
