PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system in which an input and output device is shared among a plurality of information processing apparatuses connected through a communication network even during starting the OS of an information processing apparatus. SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 1 provided with user interfaces 15 and 16 has a user input and output device 6, a driver program storage 14 for a driver 7, the user interface 15 for the driver program storage, and a program storage 13 to emulate information processing apparatuses 3 to 5 using the user interface 16. In the information processing apparatus 3 not provided with user interface, a BIOS storage 33 stores NC check programs 331, address acquisition programs 332 to acquire a second address number for the information processing apparatus 3, and programs 333 to establish a link to the information processing apparatus 1.
