PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the leg part of a fellow passenger from coming into contact with the upper end mounting part of a rear cushion unit, and increase maintainability by allowing the rear unit to be detached and attached by inserting a tool from an opening part without removing a rear cowl by merely removing a sub cover and loosening nuts for mounting the upper end mounting part to a vehicle body side. SOLUTION: In this motorcycle, the rear cowl 66 covering the side of the upper end mounting part 345 installed on the rear cushion unit 68 is installed at the rear part of a vehicle body. A tool inserting opening part 354 for inserting a tool from the side of the vehicle body when the upper end mounting part 345 is installed on the vehicle body side is formed in the rear cowl 66, and the side of the opening part 354 is covered by the sub cover 65.
