PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items, to reduce assembling work, and to improve productivity in a cam chain falling-off preventing structure of an internal combustion engine for rotatably journaling a crankshaft to a crankcase via a rolling bearing, and arranging a cam chain falling-off preventing plate extended to this part in the peripheral part of a driving sprocket of a valve system fitted to the crankshaft. SOLUTION: One member is constituted for also serving as the cam chain falling-off preventing plate, a chain guide base end part presser member of a cam tensioner, and a crankshaft rolling bearing shaft directional movement regulating member.
