PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that a complicated relation occurs when controlling equipment such as a television with a remote controller, when there are a plurality of pieces of equipment or when there are a plurality of persons, namely, that a conventional method does not include distinguishing which television is to be operated or under operating when simultaneously operating a plurality of televisions, and that it can not be distinguished who changes the channel of a television or who can change the channel when the plurality of persons are present in the room. SOLUTION: The actions of the plurality of persons are continuously monitored (1) and, on the basis of the detection of predetermined actions of the persons, the equipment such as the television is controlled. Concretely, on the basis of the predetermined actions of the persons, candidates (3) of a control object and candidates (4) of control contents are determined and on the basis of the determined candidates of the control object and of the control contents, the control object and the control contents are determined (5).
