METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EXTRACTING SIGNAL, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal extraction method capable of quickly, objectively judging data. SOLUTION: An inspection pig 1 utilizing a leakage flux method is allowed to travel inside a tubular body 5 for obtaining data to investigate internal/external corrosion in the tubular body 5 and an increase in metal thickness. The obtained data are transferred to an arithmetic processing unit for extracting event data having a region from the obtained data. The extracted event data are compared with past corrosion data recorded to a database by using a pattern matching technique for extracting event data whose similarity exceeds a setting value.
