PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability and warming-up ability of an engine. SOLUTION: In a first cooling water route formed when a cooling water temperature is below a given value, cooling water is discharged from a circulation pump 22 to cool a cylinder head 12 and returned to the circulation pump 22 through a thermostat valve 26 around a radiator 12. In a second cooling water route formed when a cooling water temperature is over a given value, cooling water is discharged from the circulation pump 22 to cool the cylinder head 12 and returned to the circulation pump 22 through the radiator 24 and the thermostat valve 26. Similarly, in a third cooling water route formed when a cooling water temperature is over a given value, cooling water is discharged from the circulation pump 22 and cools a cylinder block 14 and returned to the circulation pump 22 through a discharge line 66 on the block side and the thermostat valve 26.
