PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow water flow generation or water movement with use of air temperature variation between day and night, since use of a power pump, which is usually used for generating water flow in a lake or pond, requires high energy costs to activate the pump and causes pump operation noises though it allows significant generation of water flow. SOLUTION: The device includes a tank 4 having water inlet port 2 and outlet port 3 at the bottom, a suction pipe 5 connected to the inlet port 2, a discharge pipe 6 connected to the outlet port 3, a suction check valve 7 placed near the inlet port 2, and a discharge check valve 8 placed near the outlet port 3. Water is sucked into or discharged from the tank 4 by the expansion/contraction of air layer A above water layer W in the tank 4 due to the temperature variation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
