PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detach a coil from a mandrel shaft by moving the coil in a manner that a winding core is not brought into contact with the mandrel shaft. SOLUTION: An ultrasound displacement meter 34 detects a position of a coil 54 at a fitting position where a winding core 52 is fitted with a mandrel shaft 62. That is to say, the positions of the mandrel shaft 62 and the coil 54 on the shaft are detected. The mandrel shaft 62 is reduced in diameter, so that the coil 54 is put on a receiving stand 42 under a non-fitting condition. A controlling device 40 moves the receiving stand 24 to a position where the mandrel shaft 62 is not brought into contact with the winding core 52, in a manner that a position of the coil is a fitting position, while an ultrasound displacement meter 34 directly detects a position of the coil 54. Thereby, even if the receiving stand 24 is moved in an axial line direction of the mandrel shaft 62, because the winding core 52 and the mandrel shaft 62 are positioned on the same axis and is not brought into contact with each other, the coil 54 is put on the receiving stand 23 without dropping the coil 54, so as to surely detach it from the mandrel shaft 62.
