PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device increased in fixing strength between an output shaft and a worm wheel. SOLUTION: In the fitted portion of the output shaft 17 to the worm wheel 41, a male serration 71 is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the output shaft 17, and a female serration 73 is formed in the inner peripheral surface of the output shaft 17. The outline of the male serration 71 is formed slightly larger than the outline of the female serration 73, and when the worm wheel 41 is press-fitted onto the output shaft 17, both are, so-called, tight-fitted.
