PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a labor saving apparatus for discharging a cut strand block which early detects the cutting of a strand and removes a synthetic resin block by separating it from a newly extruded strand in a strand extruding process in a synthetic resin pelletizer. SOLUTION: The apparatus, in the strand extruding process in the synthetic resin pelletizer, has a first means for detecting the cut strand, a second means which is actuated by the detection of the cut strand to separate the cut strand block, a third means which is actuated by the cut strand to cool the cut strand block, and a fourth means which is actuated by the detection of the cut strand to move the cut strand block.
