PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take in and deliver a coin in a narrow space to make miniaturization possible and surely take in the coin. SOLUTION: A device for taking in and delivering the coin is provided with a coin lumping tray, a rotary table 63 which is rotatable around an axial line inclined to the horizontal direction, and has a taking-in hole 63a taking in the coin from one side face side under a condition where the thickness direction of the coin faces to the axial direction, a motor 65 for rotating the rotary table 63, a base member 62 which is arranged along the other side face of the rotary table 63, and has a closing part 62c making the coin deliver along the rotating direction of the rotary table 63 by closing the taking-in hole 63a from the other side face side, and a delivering hole 62b making the coin deliver to the other side face side of the rotary table 63 by making the coin reach a predetermined delivering position, and a hiding member 66 which is provided on one side face side of the rotary table 63 and can hide the taking-in hole 63a located at the delivering position or its neighborhood.
