A compound excelling in accumulation on calcified tissues, ensuring rapid excretion in the urine and rapid blood clearance, and being useful as a diagnostic agent or therapeutic agent. In particular, a compound having affinity with calcified tissues, represented by the formula (AC)a-MC-(LI)b wherein MC is a mother nucleus being a residue of compound having two or mor e functional groups selected from the group consisting of amino, amido, hydroxyl, thiol, thioether, sulfonyl, phosphonyl, aldehyde, carboxyl, carbonyl, halogen and cyano; AC is a group having affinity with calcified tissues; LI is a ligand capable of bonding with a metal atom; a is an intege r of 1 or greater; and b is 0 or an integer of 1 or greater.
