PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding a hollow molded product capable of suppressing an increase in the scale of a mold even when a mechanism related to mold release is provided, and a mold used in the method. SOLUTION: A position where female mold parts 153 and 252 are mutually combined to weld a split bodies and a position where female mold parts 152 and 253 are mutually combined to weld the split bodies are set to the same position in a mold by mutually sliding slide molds 14 and 24. Common undercut treatment mechanisms having moving cores 13b and 23b as main body parts are provided only on both sides of the same position and operated when the hollow molded product is released.
