PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to early discovery of cancer by readily performing occult blood reaction test at home without troublesome work of currently getting medical check or mailing a sample to a hospital for the occult blood test such as fecal examination for colon cancer or sputum examination for lung cancer. SOLUTION: This kit for the occult blood reaction test at home comprises a filter paper permeated with a first occult blood test reagent for checking the existence or not of occult blood in a fecal or sputum examination sample and a second test reagent to be dropped thereon. The sample is covered with the filter paper permeated with the first test reagent and pressed by a wood piece until the sample soaks into the filter paper. The second test reagent is dropped thereon.
