PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the failure detecting system that detects the failure combined with inspection software and a printed circuit board. SOLUTION: When supplying a power source from a work supplying power circuit 4 in an inspection apparatus 2 to the first and the second voltage detecting circuits of the printed circuit board of an object to be inspected, each of A/D voltages from the first and the second voltage detecting circuits is output to a CPU 1. In the CPU 1, a substrate software S converts the A/D voltage from the first voltage detecting circuit to an internal value B for determination, and therewith the A/D voltage from the second voltage detecting circuit to an evaluation value C for determination. Then, failure determination is carried out by comparing the internal value B with a threshold value B0 in the substrate software S to select one value out of two reference values G and therewith compare the reference value G with the evaluation value C.
