PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printing paper board having offset printability using a metering bar. SOLUTION: The printing paper board is obtained by the following process: Using a rod coater equipped with no backing roll ( hereafter, referred to as a metering bar ), an applicator roll is rotated reverse to the advancing direction of paper, a paper board is coated with a coating liquid 10-400 cps in B-type viscosity and an excess of the coating liquid is scraped off the paper board using a plain rod.
