PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic particle-containing composition capable of efficiently forming a component for a plasma display panel (PDP) which has excellent surface smoothness and high positional accuracy, and capable of efficiently forming the PDP which has an electroconductive material layer having large film thickness, excellent uniformity of the film thickness, and the excellent surface smoothness, to provide a transfer film, and to provide a method for producing the PDP. SOLUTION: This inorganic particle-containing composition contains inorganic particles, a binding resin, and a compound having a specified structure, such as a compound expressed by formula (I) [R<SP>1</SP>is -CO-A (A is a 5-20C alkyl or a 5-20C alkenyl); and n is an integer of 2-20].
