PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, at a low cost, a passenger type low lift truck capable of safely, easily, and efficiently performing middle layer rack picking operation without a special qualification of operation. SOLUTION: Steps 17 extending to a fork 7 side are fitted to both right and left parts of a driver's stand 8 of the passenger type low lift truck so as to be stored in the driver's stand 8. Since picking from a middle layer rack can be safely and easily performed by riding on the steps 17 extended to the fork side 7 and the foot of a worker is stabled, the picking from the middle layer rack can be efficiently performed.
