PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that attracts a player to a game and makes the player devote himself to the game by arousing the player's will to play a game and improve a game efficiency. SOLUTION: The game machine has a shooting means having a shooting handle to shoot a game ball onto a game board, a variable display game execution means executing a variable display game in response to an entry of a ball shot in a specific winning opening, a game ball guide means turning on/off the guide function section guiding a game ball to a specific winning opening in accordance with prescribed conditions, a big win execution means moving to a big win game condition, a guide function section control means controlling the frequency of turning on the guide function section to increase the frequency of turning on the guide function section when a shooting operation detection means judges that the shooting means fails to shoot a game ball.
