The device (1) is of a cylindrical shape and open at both ends (2, 3) in order to be pulled over an injury at the knee or elbow joint when intending to take a bath or shower. Elasticized edges(4) prevent water from entering the area underneath and facilitate the adjustment to the individual dimensions of the user. The cover (1) is ideally made of a slightly elastic water proof and air permeable material (5). There can be different versions as for being attached to the foot or to an ear.
